We started and we didn’t stop.
Let’s not stop now
I often find myself thinking about the problems we have as humans that A.I could solve and making art is just not on that list.
Making Art with our hands has been something we have done from the beginning of time like I dunno, since we started evolving hands and a Gollum like passion for craft materials and working out we wanted to slap some colours on cave walls.
Barbara the cavewoman who felt a magnetic pull to somehow make the hunting party she saw with her eyes appear on her cave lounge walls or Derek the caveman who just thought handprints might be cool- (an early version of “I was ere”).
We started and we
didn’t,
ever stop.
So let’s not stop now.
Do your part for the human race today and doodle a picture.
Creating with your human brain is now an important act, up there with walking around in the fresh air and eating some green stuff. (I’m serious)
✏️Time for a Doodle Dabble

⏰ Set a timer for 10 minutes
🤔Think about Barbara or Derek the cave people. If they had social media now what would their profile picture be? Posing with their favourite rock? Go-pro image from running alongside a herd of dinosaurs- doodle it? OR doodle a dinosaur book club arguing about Wuthering Heights and the film vs the book.
Share your doodles with me, I’d love to see them.
P.S If you’re a historian I promise I know there PROBABLY weren’t cave people called Derek and Barbara and that the Dinosaur book club didn’t come til loads later.

✂️Sketchbook Snippet
Am thinking about doodle prescriptions right now for something I’m working on.
I love the idea of soft thoughts to make us feel gentle in our minds . I’m thinking that sometimes the idea of positive thinking and bending our mindsets into shape isn’t quite the same as the gentleness of soft thoughts. 🤔
My sketchbook helps me figure all this out!
